Hakim Touati

Hakim Touati has a diverse work experience background. Hakim is currently working as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Duetto since January 2023. Previously, they founded their own company called Dine-In Apps in May 2019, where they focused on creating better products for a worry-free and safe dine-in experience. In February 2020, they joined Aktana as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer (Lead) until October 2022. Prior to that, Hakim worked at Grandata as a Senior Data Scientist and also as a Data Scientist, where they led the data science life cycle, sprint planning, and created target segments and forecasting models for clients. Before that, they worked at Optym as a Senior Software Engineer and forecasted profit for American Airlines as well as worked on yard optimization software. Additionally, they have experience as a Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte, a Web developer at WTCC, and as a Data Warehouse Developer Intern at Orascom Telecom.

Hakim Touati has a PhD in Computing and Informatics from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from the same institution. Hakim also holds an Ingénieur d'Etat degree in Computer Science from The University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene.
