Sam Hutchings

Sam Hutchings has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Sam recently joined Duffel in 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at OpenTable from 2019 to 2022, where they initially held the position of Software Engineer before being promoted to Senior Software Engineer.

Before joining OpenTable, Sam worked as a Software Engineer Team Lead at Eikon Group Limited from 2018 to 2019. Sam'sresponsibilities included planning, designing, and managing software projects, as well as developing and enhancing them with a small team.

Sam gained experience as a Software Developer at Odyssiant from 2015 to 2017 and at Concurrent Development from 2012 to 2017. At Concurrent Development, Sam worked on various projects, including a fuel monitoring system for the Royal Mail & Post Office and a mobile app API for Music Sales Group and Odyssiant.

Additionally, Sam had an internship at WesternGeco in 2010, where they assisted with product development and programming tasks in Java and C++.

Sam Hutchings attended Oakwood Park Grammar School from 1999 to 2006. Sam then pursued a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science at Nottingham Trent University from 2008 to 2012.
