David Henderson, J.D., LL.M, CPA, CFP(R), is a partner and co-founder of DUGGAN BERTSCH, LLC, where David has been a member since January 2009, focusing on the Private Client Practice Group. In addition to private practice, Mr. Henderson serves as an adjunct professor at The John Marshall Law School, teaching courses in federal taxation as part of the Masters of Laws in Tax Law and Estate Planning program. Previously, Mr. Henderson coordinated the Captive Insurance Risk Management certificate program at the University of Delaware and served as a senior associate in advanced planning at Handler, Thayer & Duggan, LLC. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor in Taxation and Tax Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, certification as a Certified Public Accountant, and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Indianapolis.
