Nomacala Mpeta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nomacala is currently working as the Global Educator Network and Design Director for Africa at Duke Corporate Education. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of CorporateCreatives, where they led a consultancy dedicated to driving positive societal change. Nomacala also worked as the Head of SME Programmes and Learning at Tribe Fintech, where they identified and brokered introductions to potential partners and curated digital business pathways.

Before that, Nomacala held the position of Learning Experience Design Consultant at CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation. Nomacala also served as the Communications Lead - Transformation Council at IAB South Africa. Nomacala has extensive experience in learning and development, having worked as the Head of Learning at Digify Africa, where they oversaw a team and managed learning design and delivery across multiple countries.

Prior to that, Nomacala held various roles at Digify Africa, including Advanced Learning Manager, Curriculum and Learning Developer, and Digify Africa Content Manager. Nomacala also co-founded OnBlast South Africa and worked as a Jnr Accounts/Communications Manager at Red Marketing SA and as a Communications Coordinator at Red Digital By Design.

Nomacala Mpeta began their education at NORTHVIEW HIGH SCHOOL, where they earned a National Senior Certificate from 2005 to 2009. Nomacala then attended the University of Johannesburg from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Certificate in Marketing and Sales. Mpeta continued their education at the University of Johannesburg, starting in 2012, studying Marketing/Marketing Management.
