Greer Mendelow

Deputy General Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions

Greer Mendelow is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, having served as Deputy General Counsel at Duke Energy Corporation since October 2006. In this role, Greer manages all legal aspects of complex business transactions, including risk analysis and negotiation of transaction agreements. Previous positions at Duke Energy included oversight of legal teams during a subsidiary divestiture and managing legal affairs for acquisitions and divestitures. With a career that began in 1989, Greer has also held significant roles at Azurix Corp. and Enron International, focusing on legal aspects of power and water development projects across multiple regions. Greer earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
