Ian Schlesinger

Ian Schlesinger is an experienced professional with a diverse background in compliance, operations, and management. Currently serving as the Manager of NERC O&P Compliance at Duke Energy Corporation since August 2018, Ian has extensive expertise in transmission compliance coordination. Previously, Ian held multiple positions at Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc., including Lead System Operations Analyst, System Operations Training Specialist, OASIS Analyst, and Transmission Service Operator from November 2011 to July 2018. Additionally, Ian worked as an Executive Assistant Manager at Walgreens from May 2009 to November 2011, focusing on mid-level management in retail, and served in the US Navy from December 2001 to September 2008 as a Surface Warfare Officer and Naval Warfare analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2001.
