Jeff Benson

Jeff Benson is an experienced IT Architect and Developer Consultant with a strong background in designing, developing, and testing applications for the utility sector. Currently employed at Duke Energy Corporation since April 2017, Jeff focuses on integrating the mainframe Customer/1 system with advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and master data management (MDM) systems. Prior experience includes roles at Dayton Power & Light, where Jeff executed projects to enhance customer information systems and implement new functionalities, and at Dominion Virginia Power, where responsibilities included modernization efforts for the Customer/1 system. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University, Jeff's career spans significant roles in data architecture and business systems analysis within the energy industry.
