Joe McCallister has extensive experience in the energy industry, starting in 1988 as a Gas Revenue Accountant at Shell Offshore. Joe then worked at Arthur Anderson as a Senior Auditor before joining Enron Capital and Trade Resources Corporation, where they held various roles including Financial Specialist Trading Support. Joe later worked at Eon Capital and Trade Resource Corporation as a Business Unit Structuring Manager and at Eon Capital and Trade Resources Corporation as a Transportation & Exchange Manager and Economics Manager. Joe then moved to Enron Capital and Trade Resources Corporation as a Director of Logistics.
After that, Joe worked at Southern Company Energy Marketing as a Logistics Manager and Director of Asset Management, Storage Book. Joe then joined Mirant Corporation as a Director of Texas Commercial Business Group, Director of Mid-Atlantic Assets, and Director of Corporate Planning, Management Reporting and Commercial Design of Systems.
Next, Joe joined Progress Energy as Director Portfolio Assessment and Market Risk and Analysis, Director of Gas and Oil Trading, and Director Gas, Oil and Power. Joe then moved on to Duke Energy Corporation, where they held the positions of Director Gas, Oil and Emissions and Managing Director System Optimization.
Throughout their career, Joe has been responsible for various aspects of natural gas and oil optimization, power trading, emissions compliance, and strategic planning. Joe has also gained expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and infrastructure development. Joe's experience spans over four decades and covers a wide range of roles and responsibilities in the energy industry.
Joe McCallister passed the CPA Exam in Texas in 1990. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1987, they attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
