Jon Matthews

Jon Matthews, MBA, is an accomplished supply chain and procurement professional with extensive experience in accounts payable and services procurement. Currently serving as the Supply Chain Accounts Payable and Services Procurement Manager II at Duke Energy Corporation since August 2016, Jon oversees a team of eight buyers and manages the execution of purchase requisitions. Prior to this role, Jon held various managerial positions, including Senior Manager for Procure to Pay and Order to Cash at SPX FLOW, Inc., where operations spanned 250,000 invoices annually and approximately $1 billion in revenue. With previous experience at BAE Systems, Merck & Co., Asia America, Boston Gear, and Minolta Corporation, Jon has demonstrated significant achievements in operational efficiency and cost reduction. Jon holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration focused on Supply Chain Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Fredonia.
