Katy Preidt

Katy Preidt is an experienced Economic Development Manager at Duke Energy Corporation, where responsibilities include creating electrical infrastructure for subdivisions and apartment complexes, calculating electrical load requirements, and producing construction prints. Katy has progressed through various engineering technologist roles, successfully completed Distribution Design Engineer training, and demonstrated leadership by training high school interns and college co-op students. Prior experience includes serving as a GIS Technician at Apple via Apex and conducting research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ball State University, where Katy earned a Master's degree in Geography and a Bachelor's degree in Earth/Space Science Education.
