Marc Hoenstine

Marc Hoenstine, CEcD, currently serves as the Managing Director of Economic Development at Duke Energy Corporation since April 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing the economic development program for a 34-county service area in Florida. Previous roles at Duke Energy included Director of Economic Development, focusing on retaining and expanding the commercial and industrial customer base. Prior to Duke Energy, Marc held the position of Economic Development Manager at Progress Energy, and worked at Enterprise Florida in various capacities including Recruitment Manager for North America. Marc obtained a B.A. in International Relations from Florida State University, where attendance spanned from 1991 to 1995, and completed earlier education at Dr. Phillips High School and Lake Highland.
