Thomas Haaf

Thomas Haaf serves as the Site Vice President of the Harris Nuclear Plant at Duke Energy Corporation since June 2022, overseeing the safe operation of the single-unit nuclear facility. Previously, Thomas held the position of Site Vice President at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant with Exelon Nuclear from September 2019 to May 2022, ensuring efficient operations of two reactors and leading personnel development. Thomas's extensive career includes prior roles such as Plant Manager at both Calvert Cliffs and Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Stations, where achievements included maintaining high performance ratings and achieving substantial cost savings. Thomas also contributed as an Organizational Effectiveness Leader at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations and held multiple management positions within Exelon Nuclear, demonstrating a strong focus on organizational integration and operational efficiency across various nuclear facilities. Thomas Haaf is a graduate of Thomas Edison State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician.
