Tonia Fairbanks

Tonia Fairbanks, GISP, is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Solutions Specialist and Senior GIS Analyst at Patrick since February 2016, Tonia has played a key role in governance, content monitoring, and best practices management for the Duke Energy EAM Esri team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to this, Tonia held various GIS-related positions including Senior GIS Analyst at Patrick Engineering, where responsibilities involved application development and data analysis to support Duke Energy's reliability planning. Tonia's experience also includes serving as GIS Analyst for the City of Des Moines, where web services and applications were developed and maintained, and as GIS Analyst for the City of Wichita, focusing on GIS data integration and application development. Tonia's earlier career involved roles at DataMetrix, Inc., and MPSI of Tulsa, with a foundation in geography and GIS education from Oklahoma State University, including a Master of Science degree and a GIS certificate.
