Wayne Lee

Wayne Lee, P.E. has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Wayne began their career at AREVA NP in 2009, where they served as a Safety Analysis Engineer, supporting the Design Certification effort of U.S. EPR. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Site Support Engineer at the same company, where they were responsible for technical customer interface for reactor core operations, performed Zero Power Physics Tests, and prepared and reviewed Database Updates for Core Monitoring System software. In 2015, Wayne joined Duke Energy Corporation, first as a Senior Engineer, and currently as a Lead Engineer. Wayne Lee, P.E. holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. Wayne pursued this degree until 2022. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Wayne completed this degree from 2006 until 2009. Furthermore, Wayne Lee obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from The North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors in May 2019.
