Allison C. Belan

Allison Belan is an experienced professional in scholarly publishing and digital strategy, currently serving as the Director of the Scholarly Publishing Collective at Duke University Press since April 2004. Prior roles at Duke University Press include Director for Strategic Innovation and Services and Associate Director for Digital Strategy and Systems. Prior to Duke, Allison worked as an Accounts and Project Manager at Cygil, focusing on client relationship and project management for custom software solutions. Experience also includes managing web applications at Merant and Marathon Group, as well as typesetting for Running Feet Books. Allison holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from The University of Alabama.
