Bach Tran

Bach Tran is a distinguished academic and health economist currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at Duke University. With extensive experience in health economics, Bach Tran holds the positions of Professor and Vice Head of the Department of Health Economics at Hanoi Medical University, along with roles as Associate Professor and Lecturer in the same department. Additionally, Bach Tran has contributed to Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as an Adjunct Professor and Adjunct Associate Professor. Leadership roles include serving as Chairman at the Institute of Health Economics and Technology (iHEAT, Vietnam) and as Vice President of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association. Educational qualifications include an IAS/NIDA Research Fellowship in Health Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Habilitation (HDR) in Medicine from Aix-Marseille University.
