Jia Lu

Jia Lu is an Associate at Duke Capital Partners since September 2022, with a concurrent role as a Doctoral Researcher at Duke University focused on synthetic biology, machine learning, and the ecological dynamics of microorganisms. Jia Lu serves as a Duke Scholar in Molecular Medicine at Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute and has held leadership positions such as President of the Duke Chinese Students & Scholars Association. Previous experiences include roles as an Investment Intern at Sinovation Ventures, VC Due Diligence Analyst at Biotech Connection - Bay Area, and Venture Fellow at UpHonest Capital. Jia Lu's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a B.Sc. in Biology and Mathematics from McGill University, complemented by a diverse array of teaching and research roles.
