Kelly Huang is a dedicated and accomplished scholar currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics at Duke University. As a Teaching Assistant for CS316 (Databases) and STA199 (Introduction to Data Science), Kelly leads lab discussions, holds office hours, and grades assignments. Kelly has also gained practical experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Bloomberg and previously interned at Entergy, where leadership in developing and deploying machine learning algorithms improved incident management efficiency. Additional roles include participation in the DTech Scholars Program, the UpLIFTED Women in Finance Development Program at Scotiabank, and serving as a Software Engineer and Data Analyst at Boyer Lab. Key research contributions include work on cancer image analysis for the University of Arizona and developing simulation solutions for prison COVID-19 measures during the Yale Young Global Scholars program.
