Kyana Taban

Kyana Taban is a Research Analyst and Local Executive Legislature Liaison at Leadership Connect, where responsibilities include researching and analyzing state and local government policies across all 50 states, managing data quality assessments, and liaising with over 800 government officials. Previous experience includes serving as an 8th Grade Teacher at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where lesson plans were designed for diverse student populations, and roles as a Research Assistant at UCLA's American Indian Studies Center, focusing on hate crime data analysis, and as Director of Social Affairs for the LWOB-UCLA Student Division. Kyana Taban holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, specializing in Public Affairs from UCLA.
