Rishi Rao

Rishi Rao is currently the Head Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Duke University, overseeing backend systems for the course COMPSCI201: Data Structures and Algorithms while leading discussions and providing support to students. Previous experience includes a Machine Learning Intern position at Bugcrowd, where Rishi trained bounty-researcher matching models and implemented secure workflows for sensitive data. As a Software Engineer Intern at ConverSight, custom UI components were developed to enhance data handling capabilities, alongside improvements to server architecture. Additionally, Rishi served as a Research Intern at Duke Segura Lab, automating spectrometry data analysis, and at Temple University College of Public Health, utilizing Natural Language Processing for Electronic Dental Records to model periodontal disease severity. Rishi Rao is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Duke University, anticipated to graduate in May 2026, and holds an Academic Honors Core 40 diploma from Columbus North High School.
