Samir Soneji

Samir Soneji is a Principal Biostatistician at Duke University since March 2023, bringing extensive experience in biostatistics and research. Prior roles include Principal Research Scientist at Nielsen from October 2021 to February 2023, and Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from October 2019 to May 2021. Samir Soneji served as an Assistant to Associate Professor at Dartmouth College from September 2010 to July 2019 and was a Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2008 to June 2010. Earlier in career, Samir Soneji was a Captain and Flight Test Analyst for the B-2 stealth bomber in the United States Air Force from September 2000 to August 2004. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Demography and Population Studies from Princeton University, an MA in Statistics from Columbia University, and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
