Andre Ortiz

Andre Ortiz has a diverse background in PCB layout and design engineering. Andre currently works at Dukosi as a PCB Layout/Design Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Cadlay Designs Limited from September 2019 to December 2021, SEGULA Technologies in June and July 2019, and GlassUp from March to May 2019, all in the same role. Before that, Andre worked at KRYPTUS EED S.A. as a PCB Layout/Design Engineer from July 2018 to January 2019. Andre also gained valuable experience as an HW Engineer at Metroval - Soluções customizadas em medição de fluidos from January 2017 to July 2018, where they were responsible for electronic circuit developments and integration with mechanical drawings. Andre's earlier experience includes working as a PCB Layout/Design/Test Engineer at Samsung Electronics from September 2011 to October 2015, focusing on project R&D for notebooks and mobile devices. Prior to that, they worked as an Electronic Technician at TECNOSET PRODUÇÕES EM MULTIMÍDIA LTDA from August 2006 to September 2011, where they developed PCB layouts for medical devices and worked on multimedia projects. Andre'scareer began at Motorola Mobility in May 1998, where they worked as a Technician, analyzing circuit boards and training technicians in failure analysis.

Andre Ortiz obtained their Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, which they attended from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Mechatronics degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from FAJ - Faculdade de Jaguariúna from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Andre completed a one-year program at Data Way in 2000-2001, obtaining a degree in Electronics/Telecommunications. Andre also holds several certifications, including Altium Designer 15 from SKA Automação de Engenharias Ltda., Circuit Design and library management from Altium, and several certifications from Mentor Graphics and Cadence Design Systems.
