Hasitha Prabhath Gamage has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. In 2009, they were an Assistant Manager at Hotel Sajeewya in Kuruwita, Ratnapura, where they dealt with customer complaints and comments, addressed problems, and ensured events and conferences ran smoothly. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Freelance Web, Mobile, and Desktop Application Developer. In 2012, they were a Software Engineer at Domore Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (Rebranded as Cleato (Pvt) Ltd). In 2014, they were an Associate Engineer - Technology at Virtusa. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer at Pearson, then an Associate Tech Lead and Senior Full Stack Engineer at EIGHT25MEDIA. In 2020, they were a Tech Lead at Delenta.com, and in 2021 they were a Technical Lead at Nuclei Technologies, Sri Lanka, where they drove the team to migrate and rewrite existing legacy platforms for improving scalability and robustness, and fully automated and maintained deployment flow using GitHub Actions and other industry standards tools. Hasitha Prabhath is currently a DevOps Engineer at respond.io.

Hasitha Prabhath Gamage attended Rajarata University of Sri Lanka from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Hasitha Prabhath also attended Sivali Central College | Ratnapura from 1994 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Lynda.com (Up and Running with ECMAScript 6, obtained in October 2016), US Technologies (Industrial Software Developer, obtained in June 2011), Challenge IT Institute (Computer Network Administration, obtained in November 2008), and Tec Sri Lanka (System Analyzing).
