Daniel Hartman

Dan Hartman has served as the Executive Director of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center since June 2021, overseeing one of Northeast Minnesota's premier entertainment venues. Prior to this role, Dan led Glensheen, a top historic site in Minnesota, as Director from May 2013 to June 2021, during which attendance dramatically increased from 60,000 to 140,000 visitors. Dan's previous experience includes positions as a Duluth Economic Development Authority Commissioner and City Councilor At Large for the City of Duluth, alongside working as the Program Curator of Veterans' Memorial Hall at the St. Louis County Historical Society. Dan has also contributed to the Smithsonian Institution as an Assistant Intern Manager during an internship. Dan holds a Master's degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science, both from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
