Matt Fitzgerald

Matt Fitzgerald is a seasoned professional in the coatings industry, currently serving as the Commercialisation Technical Manager at DuluxGroup since February 2021. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Technical Director at Sherwin-Williams from 2017 to February 2021, where responsibilities included directing the Group Technical function and overseeing R&D activities in China. From November 2015 to October 2017, Matt worked as the Technology Innovation Manager at Valspar Paint Services Pty Ltd, focusing on managing Architectural Coatings R&D. Earlier in the career, Matt served as the Research & Development Manager for Architectural Coatings at Wattyl from 2007 to 2015, where efforts centered on developing coatings that met market needs. Matt Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Science Diploma of Chemistry in Industry from Macquarie University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
