Mon-Ray Shao

Mon-Ray Shao is a Project Lead in Artificial Intelligence at Dümmen Orange, beginning in January 2024. Prior to this role, Mon-Ray served as a Biological Data Scientist at Syngenta in 2023 and held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Utrecht University from 2021 to 2023. Mon-Ray also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center between 2017 and 2021. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Agronomy and Horticulture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master’s Degree in Biology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology, both from UC San Diego.
