Michael Bartz is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Dunavant since September 2020. Concurrently, Michael has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Memphis since August 1992, teaching courses in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering department on topics including software engineering, digital signal processing, machine learning, and electromagnetic field theory. Previous roles include Vice President and Chief Information Officer at ReTrans, Inc., where Michael managed IT initiatives, and significant positions at Hilton Hotels Corporation and dotLogix, focusing on systems engineering and IT leadership. Michael holds a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and The University of Memphis, as well as a BSEE from The University of Memphis.
