David Leng, CPCU, CIC, CBWA, MWCA, CRM, has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Duncan Financial Group, a position they took up in January 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing risk management strategies to enhance profitability and employee productivity for growth-oriented companies. Previously, David worked as a Certified Risk Manager at Duncan Financial Group for nearly 23 years, starting in June 1999.

Prior to their time at Duncan Financial Group, David was a Partner at East Coast Risk Management, LLC starting from 2004. David also co-founded Keystone CompControl in 2004, where they served as the Co-Founder & Vice President. Their career journey began in 1991 when they became a Partner at Leng Insurance Agency, a role they held until June 1999.

David has also been involved in educating professionals in the field of risk management. Since April 2012, they have been a Faculty Member at the Institute of WorkComp Professionals.

David Leng, CPCU, CIC, CBWA, MWCA, CRM, completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Penn State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. In 2004, they obtained a certification as a Certified Work Comp Advisor from the Institute of Work Comp Advisors. Additionally, they have acquired several additional certifications throughout their career. In 1994, they became a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) through the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society. In 1998, they obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. In 2000, they became a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) through The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. In 2001, they earned the certification of Certified WorkComp Advisor (CWCA) from the Institute of WorkComp Professionals. Lastly, in 2011, they obtained the Certified Benefits and Wellness Advisor (CBWA) certification from the Institute of Benefits and Wellness Advisors.
