Jay R. Johnson

Jay R. Johnson is the President & CEO at Duncan Regional Hospital, Inc. Prior to their current role, Jay held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Mercy from May 2005 to July 2010. From July 1996 to May 2005, Jay was the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Stillwater Medical Center. Jay started their health care career in July 1993 as the Administrative Director of Women and Children’s Services at Parkland Hospital. Jay has dedicated their career to ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care. Under their leadership, Duncan Regional Hospital has been recognized as a Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital by The Chartis Center for Rural Health for three years in a row.

Jay R. Johnson holds a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cameron University.
