Alistair Main

Alistair Main is currently the Head of Assurance at DUNCAN & TOPLIS LIMITED. Alistair has previously worked at Duncan & Toplis as an Associate Director, Academy Specialist, Audit & Accounts Senior Manager, and Audit & Accounts Trainee.

Main began their career at Duncan & Toplis as a trainee in 2004. Alistair was promoted to Audit & Accounts Senior Manager in 2008 and then to Associate Director in 2016. In their current role, Main manages a diverse portfolio advising clients on relevant business and taxation planning matters, arising from their annual accounts. Alistair also acts as the office's audit manager and is responsible for some of the larger and more complex businesses in the local area.

In addition to their managerial duties, Main also sits on the firm's Audit and Accounts committee and Corporation Tax committee. Alistair assists in the agreement and implementation of firm-wide policies with particular responsibility for the firm's audit software.

Alistair Main's educational career includes a BA in Business Economics from the University of Leeds and certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in Chartered Accountancy.
