Andrew Grainger

Andrew Grainger has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrew started their career as a Business Trainee at GREENALLS PUBS AND RESTAURANTS LIMITED in 1989. Andrew then worked as a Project Manager at IBM Global Services from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they joined Phones4u as an IT Executive Manager - Business Delivery from 2001 to 2005.

In 2005, Andrew became the IT Director at Gamestation Ltd, where they led the integration and migration of IT services during the transition of Gamestation into GAME UK. Andrew stayed in this role until 2009, overseeing the transformation of employees, processes, and technology.

From 2009 to 2012, Andrew worked at Game Retail Limited as the IT Director and later as the Business Solutions Delivery Director. Andrew successfully delivered IT programs and implemented e-commerce re-platforming projects during this time.

In 2013, Andrew became the Group Chief Technology Office at GAME Retail Ltd, responsible for E-Commerce, digital channels, technology, supply chain, and customer services. Andrew played a key role in the strategic planning and delivery of the company's vision, including implementing digital solutions and driving revenue growth.

From 2017 to 2021, Andrew held various roles at GAME Digital, including Chief Technology & Digital Officer and Customer Director. Andrew led the digital transformation of the company and implemented a customer-first strategy, resulting in improved efficiency, cost savings, and alignment across functions and channels.

Andrew's most recent position is the Technology and Digital Product Director at The Dune Group, which they started in 2021.

Andrew Grainger began their education at North Cheshire College in 1992, where they pursued a degree in HND Business Studies. Andrew completed this program in 1994. Later, from 1998 to 2001, Andrew attended The Manchester Metropolitan University. During their time there, they focused on Business Studies and graduated with a 2:1 degree.
