Gallin Chen

SVP-Networks and Operations at Dune Labs Inc.

Gallin Chen started their work experience in 1990 as an Engineering Associate at GTE. They then held various managerial roles within GTE and its subsidiaries, including Manager of the PCS Network and Manager of Network Engineering. In 1996, they joined Los Angeles Cellular as the Manager of the Advanced Technology Group. They later worked at GTE Wireless as the Manager of Network Engineering.

In 1999, Gallin Chen became a Co-Founder and VP of Business Development at Aircept, which was later acquired by CalAmp. From 1999 to 2001, they also served as the San Diego President and National Board Member at the Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL).

They then joined Paradigm Wireless Systems as the VP of Business Development until 2003 when they became the CEO of Skybility. Skybility was acquired by CalAmp in 2005, and Gallin Chen continued their career at CalAmp as the VP of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing for M2M Products. They were later promoted to Sr. Director of Corporate Development.

In 2019, Gallin Chen became a Board Member for TACL LA and joined Dune Labs Inc. as the SVP of Networks and Operations.

Gallin Chen attended Torrey Pines from 1981 to 1985, but there is no information about any degree or field of study obtained during this time. From 1985 to 1989, Gallin Chen studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS). Additionally, Gallin Chen has a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
