Mike Perkins

Mike Perkins has extensive experience in city development and water management, currently serving as City Development Engineer for Dunedin City Council since February 2009. Responsibilities include overseeing infrastructure planning for housing and industrial areas, managing teams within the 3 Waters sector, and ensuring the maintenance of raw water catchment areas and pipelines. Mike has held several roles including Acting 3 Waters Group Manager, Network and Catchment Manager, and Civil Operations Team Leader, focusing on the delivery and maintenance of water services in Dunedin. Prior to this, Mike worked as a Water Distribution Overseer and Water Reticulation Operator at Dunedin City Council, and as a Maintenance Fitter at Action Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Management in Strategic Management and Trade Certificates in Fitting and Turning.
