Amanda Cox is the People and Stores Director at Dunelm. Amanda has over fifteen years of experience in human resources and organizational leadership. Amanda Cox started their career as a store manager at Asda, a British retail supermarket chain. Amanda quickly rose through the ranks to become the Vice President of People.

In their role as Vice President, Amanda was responsible for the whole 'colleague lifecycle' which included recruitment, rewards, development, and engagement of Asda employees. Amanda was also responsible for leading the People Communities of Expertise and ensuring they worked cohesively to deliver the strategy.

Under Amanda's leadership, Asda created a joined-up People Plan to enhance ASDA’s Employer Brand. This included driving the Employer Strategy Workstream to completion, developing a Talent Pipeline at all levels, and aligning the Talent agenda to the strategic ambitions. Thanks to Amanda's efforts, Asda was able to achieve a £15 million saving in 2014.

Amanda Cox has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Hons) in Humanities from Huddersfield University. Amanda also has a certification from The Leaders Institute in Fellow of The Leaders Institute.

Amanda Cox reports to Nick Wilkinson, CEO. They are on a team with Ben Carter - CMO, Chris Brocklesby - CIO, and Terri Westlake - Customer Director.
