Bo Welden

Bo joined Dunn Construction in 2012, working as a groundman in the asphalt plants. He eventually worked his way up to weighmaster and plant operator, and after completing his undergraduate and beginning his graduate studies he moved into the role of Special Projects Manager. In that role, Bo managed projects for Dunn Construction, ensuring that projects are performed on time, on budget, and to the customer’s satisfaction. He currently serves as Senior Project Manager, and coordinates with owners, contractors, and Dunn’s superintendents and foremen to ensure that each project performs successfully. Bo runs Dunn’s Field Survey and UAV operations and manages all Dunn’s mobile field devices. Bo graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Psychology in 2013 and a Masters in Engineering, Construction Management in 2015. He is a graduate of the Alabama ABC’s Future Leaders in Construction Class of 2015, Future Business Leader’s Class of 2017 and is a member of the AGC’s Young Constructors Forum. Bo and his wife, Caroline have a daughter, Sutton, and a son, Bowen. Bo also enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.
