Mikael Ståhle has over 10 years of work experience as a designer and photographer. Mikael began their career as a Graphic & Web Designer at Panic Marketing in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Lead Designer and Web Designer at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where they were responsible for interaction design, logo and brand development, web design, and front-end implementation. Mikael then joined Idean in 2010 as a Visual Designer and later became a Senior Visual Designer, working on various projects including websites, applications, and user interfaces for industrial machinery. In 2013, Ståhle co-founded SoundSling, a collaborative workspace for music creation, where they served as the Lead Designer and was responsible for user experience, interaction design, and mobile app design. In 2015, they became the Head of Design at Yogaia before joining Dunning, Kruger & Associates (DK&A) / NoA in 2017. At DK&A/NoA, they initially worked as a Lead Product Designer and then transitioned into the role of Design Lead, where they continue to contribute their expertise. Throughout their career, Ståhle has also pursued freelance opportunities, working on art direction, business development, graphic design, and illustrations.
Mikael Ståhle completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Media, specifically Digital Media, from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. This academic journey started in 2008 and lasted until 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Vocational Certification Degree in Graphic Design and Advertising from Turku Adult Education Centre from 2007 to 2008.
