Mikko Ronkainen has worked as a Senior Product Designer at Dunning, Kruger & Associates (DK&A) since 2021. In this role, they have been involved in various projects for clients in different industries, including the renewal and development of a B2B & B2C shop for a Finnish textiles company, designing a flexible ICT service for small businesses, creating a service portal for an EMS provider specialized in industrial electronics, and developing a new design language for two international car brands.

Before Siili Solutions, Mikko worked as a Visual Designer & 3D Artist at Stormbit Oy from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they focused on creating high-quality 3D solutions for visual marketing, including building and product visualizations, as well as UI design for applications utilizing VR and AR technologies.
Additionally, Mikko briefly worked as a subcontractor 3D modeler at VividWorks Ltd. in 2013, and as a User Interface Designer/Trainee at Ab Hur Oy from 2011 to 2012. At Ab Hur Oy, they designed the user interface for the Smart Card Kiosk software used for gym training, conducting research for their Master's thesis on touch-screen controlled software design and usability in the context of gym training.
Mikko Ronkainen obtained their Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the Oulu Business School at the University of Oulu. This occurred from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Design from the University of Lapland, graduating between 2006 and 2012.
