Aleksander Binion

Aleksander Binion has a diverse work experience starting in 2016 as an Intern at the University of Pittsburgh - School of Information Sciences, where they helped develop a digital system for teaching medical school students. In 2016, they also worked as a Student Technical Assistant at Logan Center For The Arts Woodshop. From 2017 to 2019, Aleksander served as a Studio Assistant for artist and University of Chicago professor William Pope.L. Continuing in 2019, they worked as a Software Developer for the Cleveland Museum of Art, where they implemented parallelization solutions and built React tools for various projects. In the same year, they joined the UChicago SUPERgroup as a Research Assistant, contributing to a project focused on ethical data science practices. In 2020, Aleksander became a Software Engineer 2 at MongoDB. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Duolingo, starting in 2022.

Aleksander Binion attended the University of Chicago from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Additionally, during the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Visual Art at the University of Chicago.
