Anya Carrasco has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Anya started their career as an Intern at T-Mobile International in 2005 and later worked as a Project Manager at LMG Operations Management, where they managed a financial reporting system for a client.
In 2009, Anya joined The Oliver Scholars Program as a Pre-Scholar Programs Assistant, where they coordinated outreach events, administered exams, interviewed students, and supported them during the application process for independent high schools. Anya also worked on the Admissions and Placement team.
After that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Consultant at Fundera, where they performed manual testing, developed test cases, and reported findings. Anya then became a Natal Global Leaders Fellow at US-Brazil Connect in 2014.
Anya's next role was at Cultural Vistas, where they held various positions such as a Business Analyst in Information Technology and a Program Officer and Team Lead for Train USA. In these roles, they managed software engineering projects, conducted user training, and administered internship/training programs for international students and professionals.
In 2017, they took a Sabbatical to pursue personal interests, which included backpacking through South America and taking courses for admission to a sustainability master's program at Harvard Extension School.
In 2019, Anya joined Selfout, a language education startup, as an English Language Mentor. Anya'sresponsibilities included leading conversation classes, providing individual tutoring, and developing content for the online learning platform.
Anya then worked as a Product Research Program Coordinator at Duolingo in 2020 before joining Zorzal Cacao in 2021 as the U.S. Logistics and Operations role.

Anya Carrasco's education history includes a Master's degree in Sustainability from Harvard Extension School, which they pursued from 2019 to 2023.
