Bomani Oseni McClendon

Bomani Oseni McClendon is a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at Duolingo, where responsibilities include leading the Animation Accelerator team and developing tooling for animation systems and experimental concepts. As a Partner and Co-Founder of Nota, Bomani creates unique digital experiences that merge music, technology, and culture. Additionally, Bomani serves as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Park Slope Volunteer Ambulance Corps, an Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design, and has held various roles in software engineering and design, including Lead Open Source Maintainer for ml5.js, and Software Engineer positions at Genius and Facebook. Bomani holds a Master of Professional Studies in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
