Fabio Lessa

Fabio Lessa began their work experience as a Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks in May 2008, remaining in that position until October 2012. Fabio then worked as a Consultant at Suncorp from July 2009 to February 2010, followed by similar roles at AAPT from March 2010 to February 2011 and NBN Co Limited from March 2011 to May 2011. Fabio then worked as a Consultant at Commonwealth Bank of Australia from August 2011 to November 2011 and as a Consultant/Tech Lead at IOOF from August 2012 to September 2012.

Fabio's next position was with Intent Media Inc. as Head of DevOps from October 2012 to September 2013. Fabio then joined SoundCloud as the Director of Engineering, Monetization from October 2013 to December 2015. Fabio then worked at Spotify as a Senior Engineering Manager from January 2016 to March 2020.

Currently, Fabio Lessa holds a position at Duolingo, where they started as a Director of Engineering in March 2020, then promoted to Senior Director of Engineering in August 2022.

Fabio Lessa completed their education at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi from 2003 to 2006. Fabio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Computers.
