Komal Dewan

Komal Dewan has a diverse work experience in the field of computer science. They are currently working as a Software Engineer at Duolingo since February 2021. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft from May to August.

Prior to that, they had various roles at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science. From August to December 2019, they served as a Teaching Assistant. They also worked as a Research Intern from May to August 2019 and as a Teaching Assistant from January to May 2019. Additionally, they were a Teaching Assistant from August to December 2018.

They have also worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University - School of Computer Science - Language Technologies Institute from February to May 2019. Before that, they gained experience as a Software Intern at Precog @ IIITD from June to August 2018. They also worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University - School of Computer Science - Human-Computer Interaction Institute from January to May 2018.

Komal Dewan attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In June 2020, Dewan obtained a certification in the Microsoft Hackathon 2020 from Microsoft.
