Lindsay Maggioncalda started working at Duolingo in February 2022 as a Software Engineer. Prior to this, in 2020, Lindsay worked at Duolingo as a Software Engineering Intern from May to August. Before joining Duolingo, Lindsay worked at CEF: Community Empowerment Fund as a CEF Advocate at the Durham Office from September 2018 to May 2020. Lindsay also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Duke Institute for Brain Sciences from August 2018 to August 2019.
Lindsay Maggioncalda pursued their education starting from 2013 to 2016 at Gunn High School, where they completed their High School degree. Later, from 2017 to 2021, they attended Duke University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (BS), Cultural Anthropology (BA), with a minor in Sociology. In 2019, Lindsay also spent a period at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
