Severin Hacker

Severin Hacker is currently the CTO & Cofounder at Duolingo since November 2011. Prior to that, Severin was a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2007 to March 2014. Severin also had a research internship at Microsoft in May 2009 and an internship at Actant in June 2004. Severin holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc in Computer Science from ETH Zürich.
