Sina Djafari has over 25 years of professional experience in the business and technology sectors. In 1994, they began their career as an Associate at JP Morgan. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as an Associate at Mayfield Fund, where they sourced and evaluated early-stage investment opportunities, focusing on enterprise application software and infrastructure. Sina then Co-Founded Design Public, a consistently profitable ecommerce company focused on contemporary home design and fashion products. In 2012, they became the Founder and CEO of Duoplane Commerce.
Sina Djafari began their educational journey at Shady Side Academy from 1982 to 1989. They then attended Dartmouth College from 1989 to 1994, earning a BS in Engineering and a BA in Economics. Following this, they attended Stanford University from 1997 to 1998 and obtained an MS in Product Design and Industrial Engineering. Finally, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1998 to 2000, earning an MBA.
