Nico Louwrier

Nico Louwrier is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in strategic corporate communication and project coordination. Currently serving as an Allround Communications Adviser at Duo+ since July 2019, Nico focuses on connecting three Dutch municipalities with their citizens and entrepreneurs across various sectors, including social care and energy transition. As an independent advisor with BeX Tekst, Nico aids small companies and educators in leveraging online and social media. Previous roles include Senior Communications Advisor at MareGroep N.V., where Nico facilitated organizational transformation, and Corporate Communications Specialist at Rijkswaterstaat, navigating changes in Dutch legislation. With foundational roles in both TNO and Maurits Groen Milieu & Communicatie, coupled with a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Leiden University, Nico has developed a robust skill set in internal and external communications.
