Patrick Hoard

Patrick Hoard has a diverse range of work experience. Patrick started their career at Motorola, Inc. in 1992, where they held roles as a Credit Analyst and Regional Business Manager, as well as a Senior Accountant. Patrick managed reporting, tax, internal controls, and general accounting duties for a small $100M annual revenue standalone business during their time as a Senior Accountant. As a Credit Analyst and Regional Business Manager, they acted as a direct liaison with customers, providing credit, collections, promotions, and technical support. In 1997, Hoard became a Senior Financial Analyst at Motorola Inc., where they supported over 1800 engineers and product managers. Patrick worked with engineering to qualify and quantify cost reduction efforts and was responsible for creating and analyzing financial statements and budgets. In 2000, Hoard was promoted to the role of Senior Financial Manager, where they reviewed and reported on new product development initiatives and produced financial packages for senior management. In 2001, they became a Business Manager, partnering with the Director of Patent Operations to manage patent creation costs. Patrick also created a new costing system for accurate long-term forecasting. From 2002 to 2011, Hoard served as a Finance Director at Motorola Inc., managing 8 direct reports responsible for world-wide support of over $700M in annual spend in various departments. Patrick partnered with three separate functional VP's and served as Treasurer for Motorola's Political Action Committee. Since 2011, Hoard has been working at the DuPage Airport Authority / DuPage Flight Center, initially as a Finance Director and later as the Director of Finance for the airport authority and the Director of Operations for the Prairie Landing Golf Club.

Patrick Hoard attended Northern Illinois University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Additionally, they pursued further education at DePaul University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance.
