Lori Carnahan

Deputy Director Of Behavioral Health at DuPage County Health Department

Lori Carnahan has extensive experience in the behavioral health field. Lori began their career in 2003 at Pillars, where they served as the Sass/Crisis Director. During their time there, they successfully merged existing programs, provided leadership to clinicians, developed new policies and procedures, and collaborated with external stakeholders. In 2007, Lori started their own private practice as an LCPC, providing therapy to clients until 2013. More recently, they joined the DuPage County Health Department in 2011, initially working as the Assistant Director of Crisis and Community Center Services. Lori was later promoted to the role of Director of Behavioral Health in 2017. Their experience includes managing crisis services, overseeing outpatient programs, and collaborating with various community organizations.

Lori Carnahan has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Illinois State University. Lori also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University.
