Mirta Ortega

Mirta Ortega has worked as an Environmental Health Specialist I at the DuPage County Health Department since May 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an Environmental Health Food Inspector at the Boone County Health Department from January to April 2018. Mirta also served as an Intern at the OGLE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT from August to November 2017. Before their career in public health, Mirta worked as an Assistant Manager at Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. from January 2014 to August 2017.

Mirta Ortega started their education at Kishwaukee College in 2010, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in General Studies. Mirta attended Kishwaukee College until 2013. Following that, they joined Northern Illinois University in 2013 and completed their Bachelor of Science in Public Health, majoring in Environment and Health, in 2017.
