Greg Schwarze

Greg Schwarze has been serving as a DuPage County Board Member since December 2020, currently holding positions as Chair of the Human Services and Emergency Telephone System Boards, along with involvement in multiple committees including Judicial - Public Safety, Intergovernmental, Finance, Collective Bargaining, and the DuPage Council for Strengthening the System for Mental Health and Substance Use Care. Prior to this role, Greg spent over two decades with the Carol Stream Fire District as a Career Firefighter/Paramedic from December 1999 to December 2021, and earlier served as a Firefighter with the Monmouth Fire Department Inc from August 1993 to November 1999. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Illinois State University, completing studies from August 1984 to May 1989.
